Cowboy/Native.

The very cool Denver Art Museum.

The Capital.

Looking West from the Capital steps.

Eddy exactly one mile high.

Denver public library.

Cow town art.

A very powerful circle of Native art capturing the attempt of the U.S. government to annihilate Native Americans.

I always judge a city on three things – the freak factor, which Denver’s is fairly high. The coffee available within walking distance to whereever I’m staying, Denver gets an A+, and the murals/art created by the people. Denver didn’t disappoint. The largely Latino neighborhood on Santa Fe Ave. has some amazing pieces.

One of my very bestest friend, Joe Randolph.

The amazing Angelo’s family owned restaurant on 6th Avenue where I worked for nearly fours years of my life.

One of my work stations. Sunday nights w/Uncle Tupelo, The Bottle Rockets, Spearhead and oh so many more to keep me company during the crazy rush.
I’m so jealous. I really wanted to stick around for another day or two and play tourist. Looks like you guys got to see some great stuff.
great pics Iz. I really like the stand of Native art. It’s kind of cool to finally see Joe and the infamous Angelo’s too. Welcome home.
It’s was really cool to see Joe… and the public art was fantastic…
